Local Web Pilot Weekly – Issue 25.20
Allow us to reintroduce ourselves; Heed our open call to use the Business App; Send me your local web pilots | Newsletter for the 20th week of 2025.

In last week’s newsletter (Issue 25.19), we shared three or so things we are focused on the most: our hunt for Local Web Pilots to add to our Web Pilot directory; our modest call for users to sign up for the Business App; our aspirations to build a Community online and IRL to help local small businesses succeed; our very early efforts to grow our Social Media presence, and this very Newsletter you are reading right now → subscribe if you have not.
In this newsletter:

Allow us to reintroduce ourselves
Who is Local Web Pilot, what the fuck do we do?
Now that we have a clearer understanding of what Local Web Pilot is and why we exist, we are actively revising the introductory blog to better align with how we currently introduce ourselves. This reflects how we perceive ourselves and aspire to be.
Heed our open call to use the Business App
We are looking for tech leaning local small businesses to use our Business App.
This is a slick little platform we use ourselves for Local Web Pilots and our client’s local based businesses — even agencies and services, like we partially are.
Is there an app for a local small businesses can to manage their local online presence and maybe more — but for those who are no more than moderately advanced with tech and web or, at least, open to try new shit?!
Yes, there are a few.
We have been researching, evaluating, and soon writing about platforms that help you with your websites, social media, SEO, reputation management, digital advertisements, artificial intelligence (to handle text, web chat, and phone calls with customers, and more), automation, and, even, other businesses functions beyond marketing, sales, and the web.

Need a little more help and 1:1 services?
We are looking to start a new cohort soon. Home service businesses are on our mind. But we will consider a cohort of other businesses and industries. Apply to vote for your industry, essentially.
Send your local web pilots!
At the core of what Local Web Pilot we want to help as many local small businesses as we can in Orlando take control and grow on the web. We know we can not help everyone. We know that if we want to help as many local small business as possible, we need more (and better) web pilots than ourselves.
Where is this database of web experts (what we call web pilots) you keeping going on about?
Yeah, we are having a hard time defining and communicating what a Web Pilot is and what it means to be a good one. Mostly because artificial intelligence and some other factors have us rethinking who the best pilots are for your local small business… and what kind of copilots they have — human or otherwise.
We will be updating this mess of an article to better express what it is we are looking for in these Web Pilots — and how they can join our free directory — and how the local small businesses community in Orlando can get access to it in a form that is useful.
If you are an Agency or Freelancer (or you want to recommend one) to be on the Web Pilot Directory
